Secure Online Shopping

We accept credit card, applePay and Paypal payments online. Our web-transactions are securely hosted by Shopify. All order and credit card information is protected using SSL technology. SSL securely encrypts the data that gets sent over the Internet. The private data of the Purchaser will be encrypted at all times whilst in transit over the Internet. The Purchaser should see a solid padlock in their browser status bar which indicates that the encryption is taking place. Goods will only be dispatched once payment has been received in full and authorized online by the appropriate payment provider.

If you are still concerned about ordering on the internet or need assistance in placing an order, you can contact us by phone or email. Please be aware that email is not encrypted and is not considered a secure means of transmitting credit card numbers. Do not, under any circumstances, send your credit card details by email.

DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy. We will use your personal information only to contact you about your order, including confirmation, changes, notifications and updates. We do not sell or share your information with other companies. 

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All images used on ALDAYA website have been authorized by photographers and indigenous communities’ leaders and artisans to be used in the ALDAYA social media platforms including this website, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Newsletter.

ALDAYA does not authorize the reproduction of any image or texts in the website for injurious or commercial purposes and the attempt to do so by any individual or company will be considered a violation of copyrights.

ALDAYA is a nonprofit which serves as a bridge to indigenous communities to have their story known and shared through the art they make. Every information we have in our website respects the use of original language and translates to English the stories that have been authorized by indigenous artisans and leaders to us to the best of our knowledge.

Our Products

All products sold by ALDAYA are 100% handmade by indigenous artisans using natural material without any synthetic finishing. Due to the hand-crafted nature of our products, there may be minor flaws or imperfections, which are characteristics of the process of making the art and add to the beauty and uniqueness of the pieces. There may also be variations in design, size, and color than what is pictured on our website.

Return Policy

f you are not completely satisfied with the item you have purchased please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order via email or phone. Please provide the following: Name, Address, Order Number and Reason for Return. Once your return is approved and we receive your shipment in its original condition (please use sufficient protective material to protect against damage during shipping). Every return will receive a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. 

ALDAYA will not be responsible for return expenses or any damages during return. We will not accept returns without prior authorization. If we find that the product has not been returned to us in fully resalable condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund. It can take up to 7 days from the date we receive your return to process your refund depending on the credit card issuer.

Damaged Goods Claim

We make sure to handle your product with care, but in the rare event that your shipment should arrive damaged, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with evidence of your claim (i.e.: pictures of the damaged package and consequent implication on the product). We will provide you the appropriate instructions to process your claim and receive reimbursement. You must retain the packaging for inspection. Failure to comply with these requirements will void any claim you may present for damage.

Lost or Damaged in Transit

We cannot accept responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit. Damages outside our responsibility would include packages being opened or stolen, and products being damaged while in transit.

Cancellations

If you have a change of mind and wish to cancel your order please contact us within 24 hours. Please have your confirmation order number available. If your goods have not already been dispatched, we will cancel your order and process a refund. In cases where the order has already been dispatched, you will need to return the goods to us in order that we can process a refund.
