Guarani Ajaka Puru'a'i Purple Basket
This handmade basket was crafted by the Guarani Mbyá indigenous women of the the Tekoá Nhundy Indigenous Land in the South of Brazil.
Its shape symbolizes the belly of a pregnant woman. We offer four different design patterns, each one of them also carry different symbols in their patterns, representing a Guarani Mbyá perspective of the world.

Care Instructions:
Indigenous arts are made out of natural materials, and therefore require great tending and care. Please keep the pieces in a dry place and avoid long periods of sun exposure, especially for the art that contains colors in it. Remember that the stalk and fiber from plants tend to soften overtime and gain new shape as we wear them!
