Krujapu is an ornament made of Taquara pieces by the Kayapó indigenous artisans.

This piece is the base of a headdress that later will have feathers added to it and finally serve as an ornament used in rituals ceremonies.

We suggest using it as a piece of art that can be hung on the wall or framed, to create a beautiful energy in any living space. You can add your own feathers to it, or leave as it is.

Care Instructions

Indigenous arts are made out of natural materials, and therefore require great tending and care. Please keep the pieces in a dry place and avoid long periods of sun exposure, especially for the art that contains colors in it. Remember that the stalk and fiber from plants tend to soften overtime and gain new shape as we wear them!

Enjoy your indigenous art and contact us if you have any questions!
